
Senior Software Engineer, Bloomberg
Leo Chen is a senior software engineer who has more than eight years of experience building high-performance financial technology at Bloomberg. As a key member of the Ticker Plant Feeds Logic Engineering team in APAC, he helps build, maintain, and manage Bloomberg’s core data storage system responsible for processing and storing global exchange tick data. He has deep technical expertise in resilient distributed systems, message queues, and complex microservice architectures.
Over the course of his career, he has experience with multiple programming languages, machine learning frameworks, and both front-end & back-end development. He is a big Python enthusiast. Leo holds a master’s degree in data science from the University of Sydney.
