Kevin Carrai is Senior Vice President, Global Head of Market Data and Access Services at Cboe Global Markets, Inc. (Cboe), a leading global markets operator and pioneer in equity derivatives. Based in New York, Carrai oversees the company’s market data business and the full suite of products that enable firms to access Cboe’s markets. In this role, Carrai leads a global business spanning the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific — encompassing proprietary market data feeds, physical and logical connectivity, market data licensing and exchange access services.

With more than 16 years at Cboe, Carrai has been a central architect of Cboe’s Data Vantagesm business, growing it into one of the industry’s most comprehensive market data and access franchises. He has driven the development and commercialization of key market data products including Cboe One U.S. Equities Feed, and numerous proprietary analytics products that offer deep insights into the markets while building a global distribution network that delivers Cboe’s market data content to financial professionals and institutions across markets worldwide.

Carrai’s expertise bridges the commercial, regulatory and technical dimensions of market infrastructure. He works closely with legal, compliance and product teams to bring new data products to market and to shape the policies that govern how firms access exchange data and connectivity — including SEC rule filings on market data fee structures. His deep understanding of how market participants — from global banks and proprietary trading firms to regional brokers — rely on exchange connectivity and data makes him a trusted voice on the evolution of market structure and the market data ecosystem.

Carrai brings 26 years of experience managing the business of market data and access services across the industry’s leading exchanges. Previously, Carrai held a senior role at Nasdaq, where he managed their access services business.
