Kei Nagatani is a senior manager and responsible for strategic planning for equities market at Tokyo Stock Exchange. In order to encourage more investors to trade on TSE market, he has been reviewing and implementing various measures that contribute to improving the function of the market, such as increasing market liquidity and resilience.

Prior to his current position, he has a background in law, having earned Juris Doctor degree and worked in the legal section of Japan Exchange Group.

In addition to these, Kei used to work in OTC derivatives clearing services division at Japan Securities Clearing Corporation, so he has knowledge and experience with exchange and clearing organization in Japan.
